Footpath signs have been removed please can they be re-instated

This is supposed to be a footpath but the landowner has taken the footpath sighs down & has signs up saying private road. Can the council please re-instate the footpath signs & let the landowner know this is a public footpath please

The pavement is being taken over by the hedges along this part of the road. It has been cleared back previously but looks like it could be cut back further to make it easier to walk down.

The walkway across the A3 for pedestrians & cyclists is extremely dangerous as the road is so fast. Could a tunnel be put in under the road to make access to Windmill Hill & the footpaths on that side of the South Downs easier please before … [more]

Pavement is too narrow to allow social distancing and road is too a dangerous rat run to safely step briefly into it. Changing the usage to a cycleway and access only allocation would improve 2 areas in one go.

Light phasing is in favour of road users not pedestrians making crossing irrelevant. Rephase to ensure lights respond to button press within 2 seconds.

Pavement damaged by regular blocking by parked cars. Bollards need to be extended the full length of Lavant Street - Quick and easy solution to hazardous pavement.

Narrow pavement made worse for social distancing by trapping pedestrians on it by bollards along gutter

Traffic is bounding along at 70mph with no safety barriers between pedestrians and cyclest, path needs to be slightly wider to accomodate both easily.

A lot of pedestrians cross here - a very dangerous crossroads

Repeated blocking of the pavement on the North side of Park Road - Bollards needed at pavement ends and corners of driveways

Between Tarn Rise and White Dirt Lane left hand side trees have overgrown in places tumbling into the road making it impossible to walk on this side without stepping into the road itself which is quite dangerous as some of the places have … [more]

Narrow footway, unable to socially distance. Please can we get something done here?

Would be great if people could walk/cycle all the way down this right of way but it is very narrow in parts making social distancing impossible. Could be a great route for people to access Morrisons and avoid main roads

Very narrow footpath, heavily used by people exercising, and due to speed of vehicles feels very unsafe stepping into the road.

Really narrow footpath next to really busy road, and really narrow cycle path. Needs improvement.

Widen Footpath - very narrow, unable to socially distance
