This is supposed to be a footpath but the landowner has taken the footpath sighs down & has signs up saying private road. Can the council please re-instate the footpath signs & let the landowner know this is a public footpath please

There are narrow,main roads that are very busy. It is unsafe & scary to try & cycle this area, any cycleways would help make this area more accessible.

This part of the cycle/walkway has no barrier between the A3 and pedestrians.

The pavement is being taken over by the hedges along this part of the road. It has been cleared back previously but looks like it could be cut back further to make it easier to walk down.

The walkway across the A3 for pedestrians & cyclists is extremely dangerous as the road is so fast. Could a tunnel be put in under the road to make access to Windmill Hill & the footpaths on that side of the South Downs easier please before someone gets seriously injured.

Currently the bike lane just ends at the bottom of a steep, blind hill when heading north. Forcing you to take a risk to rejoin the carridgeway. Extending the cycle lane or making a proper crossing would be really useful.

Currently people use Castle Road as rat run at great speed. Due to on street parking they vary rarely wait and try and squeeze through. I'd like to see it blocked off at the Main road end. People can still get to the village using Redhill road, whilst making this road safe for families and walkers / cyclists.

Currently parents are having to drive to school as there is no safe way to cycle with young children. Throughout a lot of the village pavements are one-sided meaning you have to step in to the road to avoid people and you can't cycle alongside your child in both directions...

Much of the A31 is dual carriageway with no provision for cyclists. Space could be found for a cyclepath without affecting the dual carriageway

Traffic is bounding along at 70mph with no safety barriers between pedestrians and cyclest, path needs to be slightly wider to accomodate both easily.

A cycle path is needed on the B3002 from Headley Down to Grayshott. The two locations are within easy cycling distance but the road is quite busy and narrow especially around the Applegarth area.

The unsurfaced area around the underpass under the A3 and between it and the cycle route through Bramshott is the only section of the cycle route between Petersfield, Liphook and Hindhead which is not suitable for road bikes. Can it please be surfaced? This would give road bike riders a complete route to Hindhead and beyond.

Close Brockham Hill Lane to through motor vehicles - narrow, poor sight lines, other routes are available, popular with pedestrians and cyclists

Between Tarn Rise and White Dirt Lane left hand side trees have overgrown in places tumbling into the road making it impossible to walk on this side without stepping into the road itself which is quite dangerous as some of the places have restricted views of oncoming traffic

The constant car parking on the road opposite cedar crescent is right over the painted cycles, and causes a hazard when combined with uphill section and left hand bend. Ban parking here please.

Liss Riverside Railway walk follows the track bed of the old military railway; here, crossing the river Rother.

This eastbound cyclist on the South Downs way is on a ride to Chichester but takes a short breather here, having just ascended from Petersfield along ncr 22. From this vantage point there's a splendid view over the valley towards the Surrey Hills.

This was installed over ten years ago with money from developer's contributions. It has always been an inadequate cycle lane, but all I can say now is that I hope there are plans to resurface it. We've been having to cycle on this for far too long.

This is a short piece of cycle path along the side of Basingstoke Road which was installed about ten years ago with developer's money when they built at Will Hall Farm. It is of good width and surface but only a few yards long, and connects nothing to nowhere. I doubt if any cyclist has ever bothered with it. There is a helpful "Cyclists Dismount" sign at one end and another halfway along it.

This is a stretch of off-road cycle path along one side of the busy A339 between the junctions with Whitedown Lane and Medstead Road. There is no provision on the other side of the road. It was installed about ten years ago and has never been maintained since. As can be seen from the photo, nature is reclaiming it! It is difficult to access at both ends, as one end finishes on the inside of a blind bend, and the other just becomes a narrow pavement, with a small dropped kerb to allow you on/off it, again on the inside of a bend. Most cyclists ignore it.

This is where cyclists are expected to leave the road and continue on an off-road stretch of cycle path which is still under construction (Nov 2014). As can be seen from the photo, the proposed cycle path is just the existing pavement and is not wide enough to accommodate cyclists and pedestrians. It will be a difficult manoeuvre to get on to the cycle path as indicated by the arrow, and it doesn't even line up with the dropped kerb. The moment you get on to the cycle path you have to negotiate a couple of junctions, not busy ones, but you would have to slow down and look before proceeding. The path is a few hundred metres long at best, so hardly worthwhile. Most cyclists will probably ignore it but will then have to risk being squeezed just ahead by the newly-installed traffic island. The cycle path is only on one side of the road.

Horrible pinchpoints along a short section of the A339 make this bad road even worse for cycling. The width of the pinch point is perfect for drivers to attempt to pass unless you 'take the lane' which is something that is unacceptable to ask most people to do.
