Cycle track passes over this bridge over the River Gaywood connecting the Reffley and Springwood areas.

Needlessly narrow access to the south end of Gloucester Road. Around the corner are four tightly-spaced bollards with a Cyclists Dismount sign. The parallel Field Road path has no such width restriction.

North end of bridge over the railway to the Hardwick Industrial Estate. Unnecessarily tight slalom barriers at the foot both otherwise popular and well-used.

Grudging footpath crossing of the railway with cycling across not allowed. Instead of automatic barriers, we get heavy metal gates that easily slam back onto your heels and to add insult, the official signs call the location "Nowhere FPW"!

Nice cycle track bridge over a drain connecting Chase Avenue with an underused cycle track to the difficult level crossing and a stone road southwards.

Cycle track bridge over the River Nar between Central Park and Minnow Avenue finally opened in September 2016 after years fenced off and standing idle, although the roads to the north still await their top layer of surface, so expect a bump ... [more]
